Katy Perry is ready to go vegan. The ace singer and musician sparked a row after she tweeted the same on her official Twitter Handle.
She posted, “I’m about 95% ready to be 100% VEGAN… my dog Nugget has been joining me on this journey for the past 4 monthz. Pray for us ok”.

The five-time American Music Award-winning pop star revealed that her companion dog named Nugget has joined her in the journey since past 4 months. Her post hinted that Katy is ready to Go Vegan and she will go vegan soon.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) responded positively to Perry’s tweet. PETA suggested her some healthy vegan pet food items for her dog Nugget.
There were mixed reactions from across the world. It sparked a sort of controversy among a certain section. Many of her fans suggested that it is cruelty to put a dog on a vegan diet. And it is animal cruelty as well.
“Stop pushing your human morals on an animal’s evolutionary need to eat animal proteins,” tweeted one user.
But many fans and other people lauded her for her efforts towards turning vegan.
The ‘Smile’ hitmaker welcomed her first baby with her actor fiance Orlando Bloom in August. They named their baby girl as Daisy Dove Bloom.
